    Broke within 1 month The printer stopped working within 1 month of delivery. It's been sitting in the shop the past 2 weeks awaiting warranty repairs. Very inconvenient when trying to run a business.

    Old Tech, Ink hungry, Machine has mind of own For a modern printer its very to set up. Refuses to scan over 20 text pages when file gets over 2mb. The reason i bought was to scan to pdf . Reduce to lower dpi eg; 100 and quality reduces. When scanning to email it glitches and does not send, but no software feeds this back to the app. So this means operator has to stand and watch process until its fails or sends.     Poor scanner performance When I changed laptops I had to download the driver again, after which the printer no longer recognised that it did double-sided printing. It has also stopped picking up wifi signal for the laptop so I can't scan to file. And I was disappointed to find that the scanner didn't function as a double-sided scan, nor does it scan multiple pages in one file when fed from the top.

Multiple pages can be scanned to the one file by choosing a file type that supports multiple pages e.g. PDF.     No 2 sided scan You can’t double side scan on this machine. Very frustrating to use

    Thank you for your review. 2-sided scanning can be done manually on the MFC-J6530DW by placing the paper face down on the scanner glass and then flipping the paper to scan the second side. The MFC-J6930DW is the model in this series that has an automatic 2-sided scanning unit.

    Scanning portrait documents broken Machine is a couple of years old and very frustrating when it comes to scanning. The machine attempts to automatically determine if you have placed paper on the flatbed scanner in portrait or landscape orientation, but almost always incorrectly identifies it as being in landscape orientation. Extremely frustrating as most of my scanning is of documents in portrait format. It always assumes A3 paper is landscape. Needs an option to select portrait or landscape.

    Thank you for your review. A3 documents can only be inserted and scanned in portrait orientation due to the size of A3 paper. Any scans of landscape A3 documents would need to be rotated to landscape orientation using scanning software or editing software on a computer.

    USB Cable Does Not Work The printer is fine, actually it is awesome but its a total disgrace that I can't connect to my pc via USB cable. My PC has no wifi card and basically I need to send an email to get something printed. If only the USB connection would work it would be a 5 stars.
