Not easy to use It’s not simple to use very complicated to do simple things
Failed Double sided printing no longer works and there is no app with which to correct it.
Scanning is terrible I bought this over a year ago and I regret that decision every time I scan a document. I scan from the machine's menu to a computer on the network, but the scans are always rotated. Every time I can a document I have to use extra software to rotate the pages. Just rotate the pages on the scan glass you say? Then it crops the images so I don't get the full page. Even worse, when scanning a document that is not a full A4 page it might think it's landscape instead of portrait then crop your document. Same h... read more
Print quality The setup and connection worked well but the print quality with the supplied cartridges was terrible. I had to buy a new set of cartridges to get any quality.
Unworkable machine Since I installed this machine, it's not printing and it kept wasting papers. Planning to return it.
Claims false Does not automatically print double sided. Poor colour printing.
Why do they change what works well? I have Brother for years because of their outstanding after sales service. But my latest purchase - MFC - J6530DW is the most frustrating. It replaced a J6510DW so I thought I was buying a better version of what I had. However like a lot of technology today, they only make things more complicated, not simpler. Can't get ink!!! Don't buy!!! Live in KItsap County, Washington and purchased the mfc j6530dw and when we neeed more ink there was NONE in the entire county!!! Tried to order online and no one carried it other than Brother with a 10 day delivery! MISERABLE PRODUCT
I truly wish that I had NEVER purchased this print You asked ME so I'm telling you the TRUTH! I truly wish that I had NEVER purchased this printer!!! My older Brother worked PERFECTLY for years! The ONLY reason that I upgraded was that it was a blk & wht & I needed a color printer. This printer GUZZLES INK like a 1960 Buick guzzles gas!!!
