So far the best printer I ever used One awesome printer so far amazed each time I use it. It does exactly as advertised. Also has a good price. I am glad I bought it. Would recommend this.
Works good for a basic printer Product is ok at the moment. Screen on this is small for the fingers.
Great Printer I really love this printer. It's somewhat compact and prints super fast. Easy to install and it has upgrades. Comes with your first ink which is a plus. You won't be disappointed.
Clunky for Scanning & Small Paper Tray I bought this in Oct/17 for my office because it was highly rated especially for ink thrift. On that criterion alone, the Brother delivers. However, I am coveting the HP 8720 that my husband got for his office because: - the HP has an auto-feed multi-page scanner. - the HP scanner cover stays up on its own; it doesn't flop down on my hands as I'm trying to place my document - the Brother scanning app for MacOS is slow and clunky. Easy Setup and Great Versatility I owned a Brother MFC-490CW all-in-one for many years, and I used (and abused) it far beyond the amount of production that anyone should ever expect from a small home office inkjet printer. The few times I had to call customer service, everyone I worked with was great and very helpful. The machine printed as many as 700 pages a month for almost 8 years. Does the job well after several months of use I did a lot of research to replace my printer. My previous Epson needed constant head cleaning, print was off and ate toner cartridges like crazy. I’ve had the Brother printer for several months and so far so good. It was an easy setup and I am not super tech savvy. I didn’t need to use tech support. Printer Working well so far, nice to be able to count on a printer to work every time.
Good printer Only issue is that it does not have auto 2 sided printing. It cycles both sides even though only one side is needed. If you grab the paper too fast, it goes into a paper jam mode.
Ink lasts for ever The original ink tanks are still over half full, admittedly I don't print a lot but still I am amazed. and this is with its self cleaning feature which probably uses up more ink than I do. the print quality is excellent and FAST
