Very well thought out all in one printer ! This All In One Brother printer has given me no problems except that I have to keep the paper filled and with the proper care and making sure you get the latest updates it is a true joy to use the colors are spot on and the printing is very good and fast. The ink tank refills are cheaper if you buy them separately $13.00 each for the colors and around $25.00 for the black.
Great for standard printing NOT card stock This is a good printer. I bought it primarily to print invoices for my business, in that respect it's a trooper. My wife tried using it to print some greeting cards and the rear feed does not easily handle card stock.....so if that is in your plans keep on shopping ( I can recommend the Canon TS9020 )

Great prices on ink for this model This printer is a great deal for the money. We had one for years and are moving and got another for the move. The ink is not very expensive and the ink does not run out every few weeks like some. Great product with quality results.
Poor color reproduction, OK otherwise. Don't get this printer if you use it for color graphics or photos on plain paper. The color reproduction is extremely poor. The colors are washed out, dull and different from the original. As far as I could tell everything else was very good. I bought this based on a review that touted low ink usage. I am returning the printer.
Simple installation, and printer works perfectly Printer installation was seamless, unlike the HP Officejet Pro 6978 which I also purchased and had to return. I had the whole thing unboxed and ready to work within 10 minutes. Couldn't ask for much more, and the physical footprint on this printer is nice and compact. My only complaint, which is not the printer's fault, is that it does not do duplex scanning! Best multifunction printer on the market I've tried the rest (Canon, Epson, HP) and Brother is best. This printer is simple to set up, completely reliable, and has excellent print quality. Documentation is good, as is the company's website. I just wasted two days trying to get an HP Envy 7858 to stay connected to my wired network. At one point it displayed a cryptic error message requiring a restart just to clear the error so back it went.
