Printing and Copying Issues, color cartridges A little disappointed in the copier/printer. It is not adjusted correctly so copying or printing cuts off a portion of the page. Also, the color cartridges seem to already be worn out
Color Laser MFC-L8900CDW Thus far the printer has been great. The color while not photo quality is very good especially for business applications. The printer has been without fault.

Fast scanning and printing Limited usage to date (<200 pages). That said, the scanner is very fast and the document feeder works well. I found found that lifting the cover to seat the pages against the feed wheel saves time and frustration, but this is not much different than large office grade units I have used. There is a 20~30 second warmup for the 1st printed page, after that the pages print quickly.Image quality is fine for documents.it is not photograph quality but I didn't buy it for that.

The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Brother MFC-L8900CDW review Good quality printer. Wanted to upgrade to one with duplex printing capability and not disappointed. Beats turning the paper over manually to print both sides! WI-fi connectivity has meant all my devices can now 'talk' to the printer.
Duplex scanning a definite bonus Does most things asked of it. Prints in nice crisp colour. Double sided duplex scanning is a great benefit and it can remove empty pages. Online gripe is time to first print is a bit long.
I love it! I had been looking for ages for a replacement for my old Samsung 660 colour laser, and began to despair of ever finding one. This model of Brother printer was recommended to me, and I'm so glad I decided to take the leap of faith. I'm happy with the speed, the print quality, and its performance as a double-sided scanner. I heartily recommend this printer.
