It has been a great experience. The staff and Administration are fantastic and always ready to help. It is such a homey environment nestled in the hill amongst the country view! I have been to bigger facilities and was treated more like just a room number than a person. People here all know my name and I am treated like family.
Mom's care givers were awesome! Very pleasant to talk with when we visited. I could really feel their sadness when mom did pass.
My loved one was previously a resident at Milestone Senior Living Cross Plains and overall our experience at this facility was good. The only thing that wasn't so good was the activities, there was lots of TV watching. Otherwise, things were great! The cleanliness, friendliness and staff were great. The initial meeting was great. Nice tour with a lot of useful information. [name removed] answered all our questions and some we didn't even think to ask. We spent almost 2 hours talking with him. Really eased our minds. We have really enjoyed visiting mom. The staff are all so friendly, it is always the same people. We go during the day and it is always the same 3 nurses and they are outstanding. They are great with communication and always let us know what is going on and are responsive to her needs. This is a nice, secluded place. They have comfortable rooms for the residents. The staff are friendly. The community is close to family to be able to see our loved one easier. The doorbell response time from the staff could be improved, as it does take a while for them to respond. The room has nice windows and private bathroom for my loved one. The community is able to provide medication management, bathing, and dressing assistance, and the community works well with hospice.
Overall the cleanliness of the community and our loved ones apartment most of the time is good, sometimes our loved ones bathroom could use a little more upkeep. We are very happy with the quality of care our loved one is receiving. The meals and dining service has been a nice experience they are very accommodating. If our loved one does not want to eat in the dining hall they will bring up her food with no issues. They also have really nice activities going on.
Our loved one at Milestone seems to be really happy with the meals and dining service. The value for cost is comparable.
It was a newer building and has a lot of rooms, the people were very friendly, and the price was reasonable. Our loved one has not complained about the food, I would have to give it a four out of five. We would recommend this community to a family or friend.
