Had a nice stay with the baby and wife to give us a place to relax with a delayed flight. I read some of the reviews and I think some people may have a misunderstanding of what minutesuites offers. Is the place perfect for an hour or two to have a private space… absolutely. If you’re looking for a 5-6 hour place or really need a strong nap with a bed then the hotel is what you’re looking for but a place short term that’s clean with a TV or a quick nap on the couch then this is perfect. Thank goodness for Shawn! I recently had a layover at DTW, and what was supposed to be an hour and a half quickly turned into five hours due to delays. I decided to go relax at the Minute Suite in Terminal A and I’m so glad I did! It gave me the pleasure of meeting Shawn at the front desk. His amazing personality and playful banter turned what some would have considered an unfortunate experience into the opportunity to make a new friend! I’ll definitely visit here again when passing through DTW!
Enjoyed our experience at Minute Suites. Shawn was great, he got us right into a suite and made sure we had everything we needed. The suite was comfortable and allowed us to get a nap in over a long layover due to a delayed flight.
Suite was clean and warm. Great break from the cold and noise. But Shawn made it 5 stars with his hospitality. They are lucky to have him. I wasn't going to do it, but he was so great I spent an hour inside. Well worth it.
My daughter paid $160 for two hours for a hard couch. I think this is not worth it. This place should go out of business. It it raking in the cash - a hotel just down the road is MUCH cheaper - try the sheraton - free 24 hour shuttle. Beautiful and quiet. DONT DO THIS
