It was nice to be able to have a place to rest without going thru security again. After checking into DFW terminal D Minute Suites. AC was broken, tv didn’t shut off, no blankets, doors don’t lock if you leave the room, no private bathrooms. Had to use a public one in the terminal and then charged another 30 bucks just to take a shower. Paying almost 300 for a apt bathroom size room I’ll stay at the Hyatt on my return flight back thru Dallas. I’ll be calling manager to request a discount.
After over 20 hours of flying from abroad, we were looking forward to a rest at Dallas Airport H concourse Minute Suites. Please do not bother. It is a noisy location, poorly insulated and tiny rooms. We were assigned to a room with a broken thermometer, and when we asked for more blankets in the cold room, the attendant reluctantly handed some over. At no point were we offered another room. The Suites do NOT have showers or bathroom as promised on the web site. Truly, a bad experience for exhausted travelers.
Cancellation policy is 12 hours, however, no one responds to voicemail messages or messages through the online contact form. There is no posted email address to reach out to them either. I would definitely recommend avoiding booking a minutesuite.
If you’re in Nashville and Ty is working avoid this location at all cost! Audrey checked me in and was so sweet and provided great customer service. I was told my booking ended at 9:45 and that’s what my reservation said as well. At 9:37 someone knocked loudly on my door (it startled me since my alarm was set for 9:40) as I was trying to get up there was another loud knock. They overbooked and gave the suite to someone who booked after me.
They dont honor reservation times. 6am is 6am, not 615. Ridiculous
