Eaten in the tavern for the first time and it was just as good as the restaurant, Would recommend to all. Happy eating.
Great food in a nice, casual setting. There's a bit of a disconnect between the kitchen and the service staff though. Food is very good to excellent yet the staff is merely adequate.
We always have New Years Day dinner at Mirabelle. We go early because it is quiet and just what we need after a hectic holiday week. The Tavern food is comfort food and delicious.
On our 3rd visit to Mirabelle, it was very crowded and the food service was very slow. Food is wonderful. Cheese platter is one of the best. Good onion soup but the steak tartar is not spicy as I like. We waited a long time between courses. A little disappointing as our other visit were outstanding
My experience here was greater than Insignia. The place was cozy and nice. Service was great. Even my kids had awesome time. I would recommand this restaurent to any family for special occasion.
While we expected to find the superb Mirabelle restaurant transplanted to its new location, we were greatly surprised to find the menu and ambiance to be more reminiscent of a pub. The menus - prix fixe and standard - offer nice, limited choices, all prepared very well, plated properly, and served by young but knowledgeable folks. It's a small place, with tables a bit close, and noisy, but we're already talking about planning a return visit, so it must be great.
The tavern is a very nice spot to eat with some very good food choices. The cheese plate was very good, cheese served with a toasted raisin bread. The main courses provided variety, they also have prix fixe choice if you want to go for all the courses. I thought the service here just misses the mark in terms of not matching the ambience and food. Food was great and beautifully presented, prices reasonable, wait staff was terrific! Kudos to Guy!
I love this place!! You can go there for anything. Dressed up or dressed down...has a good bar as well!!
