Wonderful bread and very good food, somewhat spoiled by slow and somewhat innatentive service.
Everything we tasted was beyond delicious. The oysters were a favorite and the chicken pot pie was comfort food with a light touch. Good luck choosing a dessert! We were treated to a shot of mulled wine which was so soothing on the cold winter night. We all can't wait to return.
The food I ordered was excellent. However, the portions were miniscule. I would not recommend this to friends.
WE WENT TO MIRABELLE TAVERN FOR MY PARENTS ANNIVERSARY AND HAD BREAKFAST.....THE SERVICE WAS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS, DELICIOUS FOOD AND INCREDIBLE ATMOSPHERE! WE WOULD RECOMMEND DINING AT MIRABELLE TAVERN TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO HAVE A NICE, RELAXING MEAL WITH AN OVERALL GREAT ATMOSPHERE.
The price fixe is a bargain, as the food is tasty and sufficient (in three courses) plus a glass of tolerable wine. No one should confuse it with the Mirabelle restaurant, however.
Very warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was superb and the chef sent us a complimentary soup which was divine. I have eaten here often over the past 30 years and I have never been disappointed. The food has always been wonderful. While there, be sure to treat yourself to a Plum cocktail.
Always a special location. It is good that the food is keeping u and not too pricy at lunch!
We were four couples for the last Sat of li restaurant week and we could have not asked for a better experience. The selection of food was excellent as was the service. They even exchanged two deserts when they saw what others had ordered.
I was so looking forward to dining at the "New" Mirabelle but was sadly disappointed! it may have been the fact that it was Restaurant Week - three courses for $24.95 - or my choice of dinner. I ordered Caesar Salad which tasted spicy. I later found they add cumin to the dressing. In addition, I had the lamb shank with paparadelle noodles. Lots of noodles but the lamb shank turned out to be little scraps of lamb - no shank or sauce in sight!
