Verified Renter Recently relocated back to Chicago with high expectations and looked forward to experience living in a studio apartment for the first time. However, I have not been having a favorable or positive experience living here at Museum Walk Apartments. I rented the apartment sight unseen, online and although the apartment didn’t meet my expectations, I adjusted to the challenges that I encountered moving forward. Now I’m finished, and at the point of no return. Thank you, but no thanks!

Verified Renter Three years later and it's just not worth it, they arbitrarily raise your rent by huge margins, force fees on you for services you didn't ask for or have when you first moved in, no way to opt out. It's not worth the hassle at this point.

Verified Renter Museum walk apartments is by far the most poorly-managed building I have lived in. It took over a month for a severe leak to be fixed - they waited until my lease was up to fix it because they needed to replace the ceiling due to severe mold. Sure, the rent is cheap but it’s cheap for a reason.

Verified Renter Every maintenance request has been handled exceptionally by maintenance except the mailbox being broken and never fixed, and the washing machines that don't wash, they just take your money and pour water over your clothes causing me to load up laundry and drive to the city and pay more to have my clothes actually washed. Parking is non existent and security can be improved but other than that museum walk is a great place to live. TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE If you’re struggling to find some place to live, maybe this is the place to be but if you want a comfortable, peaceful environment.. this isn’t the place. There literally was a bad drug deal that happened the same month I moved in and someone was shot in the building. People steal others packages and NOTHING is done about it. Verified Renter Reasonable rent, great location and nice apartments with huge walk in closets, but way too much noise. Doors do not block out the noise in hallways and I can even hear my neighbor across the hall from me with both of our doors closed. Then there is the loud freight elevator. This apartment should never be rented out.
Verified Renter I have had no problems living here in my first here, but starting with repeated bathroom ceiling leakages (twice in two months) and the general lack of urgency to fix issues has made a frustrated resident. The property management must look into these issues and duly compensate residents for problems they have that are due to no cause of their own but by negligence by maintainence crews. I wish they cared more about their residents and understood our plight rather than behaving indifferently.
