We have worked with Thomas on two separate home purchases in the Charlotte, NC, region and have been very impressed with the level of service he provides. He is very knowledgable and responsive to questions and helped guide us through the mortgage-lending process. We would highly recommend him to others.

Thomas did an amazing job! He's extremely knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home. As first- time homebuyers we were very nervous about the whole process and didn't know what to expect, but Thomas quickly put us at ease. He kept us informed every step of the way and was quick to respond to any questions we had. As a result we were able to close on our new home way ahead of schedule. He really went above and beyond! Thanks Thomas!

Providing one long list, or a simple checklist, of the items required to secure our loan would have been more preferable instead of the many emails and correspondences with more and more documents requested. Your underwriters would benefit from greater explanation and detail in their communication routes.

the number of automatically generated requests for documents or actions from the portal was excessive. I was asked to connect to my emoloyers employers payroll account to verify my employment . I had to tell Shawn and Teresa several times the link doesn't work, and yet the requests continued to come through I had to ask several times for a refund on an appraisal overpayment . The appraisal document was hard to find in the portal- it was not under "doucements" but under @action... read more

We had a remote closing and servicing team was not prepared timely which delayed close by 1 day. It had nothing to do with Thomas but there were remainder items that came as a last minute rush unprepared.

I was not happy with the app used. Very limited security (no log-in required each time) considering the content of the information being shared was quite sensitive. Also the services for linking banking and employment information regularly did not work. Last concern was that we didn't get final confirmation of approval until 1 day before closing which was cutting it very close. Anwar was very helpful and answered my questions when I had them. Robert Wicklander on the other hand was not responsive at all to my calls and barely to mine or my realtor's email. The day of closing the messed up the credit amount that the seller's were giving me twice. Overall it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Communication was prompt, but it was never clear who to talk to about what. One point of contact would be best. During underwriting, the same information needed to be submitted multiple times. The application didn't include vital questions that would have made a significant difference in the process.
