I heard about Jay Jaffee a my neighbor January 1st. He met with me the next day. Jay’s warm personality impressed me from the start. I’ve gone through several very stressful refinances. Jay educated me thoroughly about what to expect and kept in close touch with me. Jay is caring, friendly, outgoing, very knowledgeable, funny, and he is always there for his clients. My refinance was funded 25 days after I first met Jay! Best experience ever!

We uploaded documents, Cody reviewed with no questions. Then literally days before trying to close--which ended up being late--we had so many questions, as well as, documents needed. All of this could have been managed much earlier if someone just asked. It created an incredible amount of stress and a late closing. I snapped at Cody (I do apologize), but it was all too much. I think there could have been a little more communication and just overall knowing what and where we were in the stages. It also came down to the last couple of days where things were overlooked and "came out of the woodwork". We were caught off guard by a couple of them and would have liked to known sooner what was going on.

More communication. People I didn’t know would contact me asking me for information. I had no idea if it was related to my refinance or if it was a scam. Considering I was getting tons of calls and emails from potential lenders after beginning the refinance process (no idea how they got my information) it would have made sense to get a heads up about who to expect to hear from and who was safe to communicate with.

Jay said what he was going to do and then he did, furthermore he provided updates throughout the process to make sure we were informed about where we were in the process and if we were going to close on time and we did, even though it was a tight timeline.
