Minimal waiting time. The entire healthcare team were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Shayya is the most personable neurologist I have ever been seen by. Speaks directly to you and answered questions so we can understand in layman terms. Thank You all for your caring ways

I made an appointment to see Dr. Shayya as a new patient with a diagnosed serious neurological disease but when I arrived was told by his physician assistant that my appointment would be with her instead. The physician assistant didn’t know the answers to my questions, said she would ask Dr. Shayya about them and call me back in 3 days with the answers, which she did not do. It was difficult enough just getting to his office being confined to a wheelchair but there’s no excuse to be treated in this way by medical professiona... read more

You don't actually see this Dr except for a maybe five minute online 'appointment'. Lots of referrals and a final meeting with his assistant. All of this taking over two months. The kicker was when I was told that it could take up to 10 business day for them to send the final evaluation to the final referral. I asked for a copy and delivered it that day myself.

Ever have headache, numbness and tingling in your hands and feet, and vertigo so bad you throw up? Then you experience symptoms on and off until you're able to see a specialist 3 mos. later. Tests are run and results are reviewed 2 1/2 months later (for your first available appt.) You wait a total of 5 1/2 months and 2 hours in a crowded office for him to spend 5 minutes with you to tell you that you have carpal tunnel and arthritis. But hey, you're reassured that if you experience symptoms again, he is happy for you to make... read more

Particularly disturbing - Michael, the PA, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Dr. Shayya was otherwise. After having me fill out a questionnaire inquiring about my gender status I was a little confused. When I spoke with the doctor I was even more concerned. Upon entering the room he immediately asked me if I had had the vaccine. I explained that I had not, but rather had provable immunity from a recent bout of Covid. He forced me to don a mask. I will not return.
