horrible place, horrible therapists, horrible over all
ive been going to the Monongahela location for years and never got better they made me worse. they only have Indian doctors that I always had to video chat with because their in another country and never had a in person visit. Indians dont know anything about mental health or medicine. The years I've been their the Indian doctor there wouldnt ever know what to prescribe so they would make me take fifteen pills a day everyday for years that did nothing for my anxiety or depressed just made me have a bunch of bad side effects ... read more
I was in the intake process here in 2025 and my new potential therapist gave off a vibe that they could be... maga. So, I asked who they voted for and they refused to clarify or answer but did ask why it would matter. So if you are maga, this might be the place for you and I'm not even being sarcastic, everyone who needs therapy should have access to it. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I scheduled an appointment for my daughters and I for family counseling. Their father, who is very young has been diagnosed with seizures, aphasia and dementia. They had our information for two weeks the day before the therapist calls and says that she does not accept our insurance. She promised me that someone would get back to me the next day and help me find someone at New directions who did. This made absolutely no sense to me and no one ever got back to me. This company took advantage of me financially and played it of, dont use them!! not just did they turn me over to collections, after i pad it they started billing me again! they hid the billing from me for months until i cancelled my therapy over it then acted like oops we made a office error, you owe us 2600 dollars
don't withhold people's medication they rely on and make them wait 5 days and only after you tell them you are requesting to be referred elsewhere and you are going to be getting your medication off of your PCP instead in the meantime, then they finally send the prescription over, only to have to be picked up the following day then, making it 6 days without medication when people are trying to put their lives together and take care of their family.
This practice fraudulently charges people and does not return calls or emails when contacted about it. Many people, like me, have been billed for "no shows" and "being late" when neither have occurred. I have been fighting them for 2 years (while they continue to add "late fees"). I would not recommend this office to anyone.
I had been a loyal patient at this psychiatric office since 2017. For years, they were accommodating and reliable, especially with scheduling. When I first started here, it was great. I felt like I finally found a therapist in the first time in 25 years I could relate to and I started doing alot of heavy work on myself. I was seeing one provider and because she kept adding medications every single visit that I knew I didnt need and didnt want, I asked to see another provider.
