Thank you to Dr Pasierb for your help with Abby this weekend, who overdosed on Rimadyl. Abby is doing great now, thank you. All the techs were wonderful and Abby was taken great care of.
Sept 2025 I was a visitor of Newport when my dog had a emergency and needed care right away. Newport Animal Hospital turned me away said they don't have enough staff! I was shocked called them 2x and turned away. I had to call a Uber to take a 30min drive for a Urgent Care to take care of my sweet Tux. With this said they seem to be just another busy veterinarian not a Hospital for emergencies.

While we try to provide prompt care for all the pets in our community, we are not an emergency facility. As such, we need to direct patients to our Emergency and Urgent Care partners when it is in the pet's best interests. If I could give them no stars I would. They are highly unprofessional and hurt my dog. They made my dog bleed badly and did not care AT ALL. Hoping to God my dog doesn't get an infection from their lack of care. Please do not go here and bring your animals. The Business Office was also highly unprofessional when I brought the concern of my dogs well-being to their attention. They said "these things happen sometimes". No apology, no remorse. This review is for the new kennel pricing…I am very disappointed and to be honest feel like I’m being taking advantage of by whoever decided to charge a full day for boarding even if your pet doesn’t stay overnight. The new pricing is like telling you when checking out of your hotel room that you have to pay for another night because you were there for part of the morning. This would never happen of course so why on earth would they be doing this at the kennel. This makes no sense and I hope they reconsider charging people ... read more
