When I tore the ligaments in my ankle last year, Dr. Nickson was recommended by my primary care Dr. I was devastated to find out I needed surgery to repair my ankle, in order to return to the active lifestyle I loved of running, riding bikes and my daily wearing high heels. Being treated for arthritis of the left knee and I was very concerned about surgery. Dr Nickson and his staff put me at ease by describing treatments I could have that might be useful before surgery, I tried the 5 week injection program, I did not feel any relief from the discomfort, On June 1 my follow with Dr Nickson went real well, I was given an injection for the pain I was suffering from and as of this date I finally feel no pain or discomfort that had gone for 2 months. I was referred to Dr. Nickson by my primary care physician and I could not be happier with her recommendation. Dr. Nickson is not only a great doctor and surgeon, he also cares about his patients. He is extremely personable and has an amazing demeanor. He knows exactly how to put you at ease while leaving you with complete confidence in his abilities. His office staff are also wonderful and everyone takes the time to talk WITH you and actually listen TO you. I have been extremely pleased with the care I have received!
