Do not go to this Vet if you care about your pets. They do not warrant even half a star. I went to them for almost 17 years, mostly when O'Grady was there and they were awesome. Once he retired, it went downhill. Ridiculous extra charges, rude Vet (actually called my dog mangy to my face), and would not even see her for an emergency even though I called first thing in the morning. I would like to clarify this situation and offer some assistance. To begin, Dr. O'Grady owned North Torrington for decades and had not updated his pricing or protocols in a very long time. Unfortunately, just like everything else in life, medical supplies and cost of doing business increases yearly. These increases are beyond our control. I would NEVER recommend them EVER!!!!! not compassionate at ALL!!!
Not a regular patient here. Brought our dog for an urgent visit when she got a cut on her paw and they were the only place with an opening. The treatment they gave her and services were all fine. But be aware, pricing is on the extreme high side. $42 just for the bandage covering her stitches. A week later had the bandage changed at our usual vet, no charge. I understand there are a lot if variables in pricing....but c'mon man. $42 for a bandage?
This is the worst place to bring your pet!!!! It's not the same since Dr. OGrady retired. This guy is a terrible vet!!!!! I will never bring my pet there again.
After getting a second opinion on my recently rescued, they failed to do basic tests on her to make sure she was in good condition. More interested in selling us their sponsored brands. Will never go back again. Thankfully our dogs ear infection, hyperthyroidism, facial paralysis and a cyst on her neck are now under control with our great new vet b
