RecommendedI want to say that we are so happy with all the folks at the Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital in Ft Wayne. We had to have Megan there this week for surgery to remove a lipoma that was in between the muscles of her left thigh. Dr Coolman was gentle, thorough, patient with our questions, and they all kept us very well informed. Megan is doing fine, and the results indicate that the lipoma should not come back. Her staples come out in about 10 to 14 days.
RecommendedIncredibly compassionate and professional staff at NIVES. Dr. Essig and her surgical team helped my senior dog, Mondo, who needed a benign perianal adenoma removed. During the checkup phase, my dog was really sensitive about being examined on his backside, and everyone that handled him did so compassionately and with lots of care. I really appreciated that they let me stay in the room with him or assist them in examinations because he was much more relaxed with me there. RecommendedWe cannot thank NIVES enough for what they have done for our dearest boxer Harley. Almost three years ago he had soft tissue sarcoma in his front leg in which Dr. Essig did a biopsy followed by a front leg amputation. Dr. Essig and the staff were so professional, caring and reassuring. The care Harley and us received at NIVES was unbelievably outstanding and worth every penny! RecommendedAlthough the outcome wasn’t what we wanted to hear, Dr. Coleman, team, and staff took great care of my dog, Ali. We took her in on Friday night for some abnormal bleeding. Dr. Coleman had a full schedule Of surgeries Monday morning, but got her in when he could. He removed the mass on her intestine. Dr. C has answered our questions.
