RecommendedNorthgate is a wonderful place for care. The team is very respectful and knowledgeable. Clean and safe environment. Locally owned and operated. 5 Star all the way!
They try hard, a lot of good people work there, but they are terribly short staffed especially on the 2nd and third shift after dinner. The aids are overworked and overwhelmed. There is definitely a division in jobs and I do not see the nursing staff assisting the aids. This could be a great place if they would fix the ratio of patients to aids.

My mother was here for rehab after complex surgery. The physical therapists are great but overall this place is awful. Dehydrated my mom to the point she was in renal failure and we had to be the ones to recommend to them she be transferred to hosp. Left without call button multiple times and left to sit in her own waste for 2 hours. We have called multiple times to get the money from her personal patient account returned and no one has gotten back to us. Not at all impressed with the upper level nursing staff either. They didn't do a very good job taking care of a friend of mine who died at their facility and it shouldn't have happened. They do have some wonderful staff members. Like Darcy Linton and some other night staff on D wing. I was also a patient there and they allowed me to become dehydrated and suffer from a medication interaction causing a permanent health problem. The dehydration was a factor in my friends death.
