I had been a patient for many years, but had grown tired of the long waits in his office, and also on remote visits during the pandemic, without even a word from his staff that he was running late, which is the norm for him. I found him rushed in his latter years, and not very helpful, yet his office constantly called to make follow up visits every three months. I have no idea what he was following up on, except to bill my insurance company for another visit, which lasted all of 5 minutes, after an hour or more wait.

When I got to the office I handed the front office my ID and insurance card. Filled out the paper work and waited for over an hour past my appointment time. When I got in to see the Doctor he said right off the bat that he did not take my insurance and would not be able to assist me. I asked if I needed to pay a office visit and he said no. I just received a bill in the mail for $487.00 which is bogus as nothing was done. I would not recommend this office at all. The front desk should know how to read a insurance card and ad... read more

My first visit to Dr Bakers office was with Natalie, a new PA . She very bluntly told me there was no cure for cervical stenosis and my Pain level on a scale of 1-10 would never be below a five. It was extremely discouraging news. I had a epidural done by Dr Baker and my follow up visit with Natalie was worse. I said I didn’t appreciate her being so blunt and that the epidural did not work. Her response was asking me if I wanted more Tramadol and offered no more options. I have since seen other doctors and understand there i... read more

After my 2nd visit I had worse pain than when I went in. I tried to call the office to get back in immediately. My pain was severe enough I was worried the procedure performed had done damage. No one answered the phone at the office even though I’d just been there an hour before. No one returned my messages that day, or the next, or the next. When they finally called it was to tell me that even though they told me they had an agreement with my insurance, they didn’t and I would have to pay cash. I tried to remind them that w... read more

I’ve heard of script writers before but never had the misfortune to met one until now. In two years I’ve seen him twice. That’s it! All the other times are his PA. I advise you to steer clear. He never introduced himself or even looked at me and my husband. He typed then stood up without a glance or word and left the room. We kept waiting but 20 minutes later a tech came in and said “your done”! Outrageous! He is completely rude and asked me nothing. I was given meds based on medical records I brought and two months later th... read more

An hour past my appointment time, a man wearing scrubs burst into the small room where I’d been kept waiting, sat down at the computer with his back to me, & started typing. I began explaining the condition that brought me to NovaSpine, when he interrupted & said, 'I’m going to tell you the truth: there is no treatment for your condition and nothing that can be done.' If I wanted to try CBD oil, he could sell me pharmaceutical grade at a very small profit. I said I had no interest & asked about a pain injection I'd hear abou... read more

I would have given him and his office only 1 or 0 stars but he has at least one good nurse. Immediately after my 2nd visit for a nerve block I had horrible pain. I tried several times to call his office and all I ever got was an answering machine. Worse than having more pain than when I went to his office was not knowing what damage was done, how long it would last or how I might fix it. I didn’t hear from anyone in his office for days after. When I did it was phone tag again and nothing but an answering machine. Nobody ther... read more

Went in for pain shot in neck between c-3 & c4. Very vague conversation. We will take care of you. He gave me a shot in back at th4 instead. I'm still trying to get info on why. Nothing wrong with back at point of shot.. very confused and wondering why I spent 3 months with X-ray and MRI on neck.. if no answers today, I will get them.

Dr. Baker is a rude and complacent Dr. I just got off the phone with his Triage Nurse, or that's who she said she was and I was calling in regard to a letter I needed regarding my back for VA. I was ridiculed and belittled by his staff (triage nurse). They said that I have only been with them for 2 months so they wouldn't give me a letter even after giving me a crappy letter that made no sense. I told her Dr. Baker refused to look at my military service records etc. She then told me Dr. baker did not respond back to me (afte... read more
