At first I was asked to reschedule but when I said we were leaving for an extended vacation their next business day, they kept my same appointment. All went well. Drs are attentive but extremely busy. Appointment setters constantly overbook appointments which mean an hour and a half or two hour wait time!
Everything went very well. Only item I did not like was the 'wave' lounge chair I sat in waiting for my Xanex (?) to kick in. It was very difficult to get up from it and it did not feel to be very stable.. The nurse did not offer to help; he was already in the operating room as I tried to get up.

The facility is beautiful. The staff is friendly. I had the Monovision and was given a pair of contacts to show me what it would be like after the surgery. I couldn't wait to get started, I followed all pre and post op instructions like the boy scout that I am. After the first day, my distance vision was double! The doctor explained that I was over corrected in my distance eye because once the cornea flattens out this will clear up. No one had told me this before and it is not printed in the pre op anywhere.
