So far things are going very well. They have PT and OT on site and they have done an AMAZING job with my mom in the past 2 months that we have been here. She is standing and she is able to move her right side more. We have not heard any complaints from my parents on the food. I would recommend Oaks at Hampton to others.

Both of my parents were placed in Memory Care at The Oaks at Hampton three years ago due to dementia and Alzheimer’s. The staff, director and the Activities director helped my sister and me ease into the realm of having parents that are in a home. It was one of the most gut wrenching decisions I ever made. These wonderful people welcomed my parents and family with open arms; they were there for us when my father passed away, attending visitation and funeral services for him. We toured Oaks at Hampton and had a great tour experience & first impression. We chose another community because it was 2 miles away, and my dad preferred to be in closer proximity than where Oaks at Hampton was located.

My mother-in-law has resided in the memory care unit of The Oaks at Hampton for many years and has received wonderful care. The positive attitude of the staff starts at the top and filters through to the entire staff. The facility is very well maintained and many activities are hosted for the residents. Special events to include families are held several times throughout the year. We checked out other facilities when the need arose. My Husband and I moved into Hampton to be closer to family and get stronger with the rehab that they offer at the community. The atmosphere here is like being at home for us. The Staff truly cares and wants to get to know you and spend time with you. Even if they are not helping take care of us, they take the time to visit and say hi. There is always something going on and we never have a dull moment.

I thought Oaks at Hampton was lovely. I had a great first impression of the property. It was one of the first places that we toured, and because of that, I don't feel like we got to see everything that they had available to offer. They showed me the rooms and introduced me to a lady who happened to be sitting in the hall doing a puzzle. I wish I was shown the facility in more detail or had known to ask to see more things. My 93 year old mother lived in the memory care unit for the last 5 months of her life. The administrators, nurse, and staff were exceptionally gentle, patient and caring.

Gave you that typical nursing home feel. Not for those needing independent living, or those early stage assisted living adults in my opinion.This seems to be a very caring place but very dark. It definitely could use some fresh updated painting. The dark doors and trim could use some brightening to help give visitors a different feel. The garden areas are wonderful. Staff seemed genuinely caring and love their job. [Name removed] was amazing and kind.
