RecommendedProfessional, kind, knowledgeable. But most importantly, guilt-free. Will provide cost effective alternatives and I never get the feeling it’s a money grab. Incredibly friendly and make my pets feel as comfortable as possible. You can tell they really care.
I've been taking my pets here for over 30 years. One of my cats was recently diagnosed with diabetes and Dr. Hovenaar and the staff has been the absolute epitome of patience and kindness with my questions as I acclimate to this new care plan. They have always been compassionate and empathetic as I have navigated end of life decisions with past pets, and their prices on prescription food are very, very competitive to Chewy and other online outlets. 😇If a staff at a veterinary hospital could be considered "Angels Of Mercy," this wonderful place would be fitting! I trust them as much as my hospitals and doctors, have been a loyal pet owner and grateful client for all of my animals, and I cannot find anything that they could do to improve!

Everyone at Oakwood Animal Hospital goes above and beyond! The staff are all friendly and helpful and the Drs. spend time with our dogs and researching possible ways to help them. When we had Covid one of the Drs. actually went to Walgreens to pick up a medication for our dog. I can’t say enough positive things about all of them!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Oakwood Animal Hospital!!! ❤️

Oakwood Animal Hospital has the most caring, empathetic, and knowledgeable veterinarians. My cat got very ill during the Holidays and it all happened so fast. I felt so thankful to be able to call the after-hours emergency number several times during the evening, weekend, and even on New Years Day to get expert advice on how to care for him.
