What used to be Meinke and Maui Express Car Wash, this is OilStop's 2nd location here in Roseville behind Arco. I/My family have been going to OilStop since I have lived in San Jose then moved to Roseville. My daughter also used the OilStop in Costa Mesa when she was going to University of Irvine. It is okay - I did my oil change there second time because it's close to my house but honestly I don't think I'll be back... I JUST WANTED OIL CHANGE!!!! I said it million times and they kept trying to upsell everything. I understand-all places do it BUT this place is much much crazier. They kept coming and saying what I need to change, tried to upsell EVERYTHING... more expensive oil, some other fluids, filters etc etc etc even though I kept saying to just do the oil. This is a drive-thru oil change place, it shouldn't have took that long. We waited over an hour and a half just for them to get to us and then our service took about 30 minutes in itself. Just a simple oil change, I don't get why it took so long. Seemed like they had a new worker there who needed help from his coworkers throughout our whole service. I was overcharged despite me calling out the incorrect item on my invoice, and had to return for a refund. As well, I found that one of the covers in the engine compartment had been busted by the staff without notifying me. I've tried to contact guest services through email and through the website, and have received no response.
I had been taking my vehicles OilStop in Roseville customer for years, but I won't be returning after a poor experience during an oil change for my Nissan Armada at their new shop on Cirby. There were several issues. (1) I was advised that I should replace my transmission fluid after being shown a sample. I don't know where the sample was taken, as I didn't observe any tech pulling the very long dipstick (which is bolted in on my vehicle). Watch out they will take advantage of you. I wasn't told they were going to charge me for the oil filter, $16.99, or that I had a choice of a cheaper filter to use. I was told "this is the oil filter we are using". Everything else I was given the price and if I want to add it to my oil change. It was the manager Marco helping me otherwise I would go back and complain to the manager to get the money back. Timing was absolutely terrible! While cars that I was ahead were pulling out as I sat behind this lady with nobody working on her car for 15 minutes. I waited for an hour and a half just to get an oil change. What TERRIBLE time management. If you are going to run an oil change business make sure you have enough employees to handle the load!
If you have 3 hours of you day to waste and are looking for the worst service in town then this is the place for you. I have been going to Oilstop on North Sunrise for the last several years and always pleased. I saw this one open up and since it's so close I thought I would go there. Biggest mistake!!!! I pulled in an there was only 1 car in front of me so cool, should be fairly quick......WRONG!!! Waited an hour and 15 minutes to pull to the bay.
