malpractice according to the Canadian veterinary oath to always promote animal wellbeing and prevent and relieve animal suffering. With over 10 million canadians striving for a more plant based diet due to the unethical farming industry I would have hoped a vet clinic wouldn't publicly advertise for a animal slaughter fest. will not use this vet or recommend till this is resolved

Please stick to treating animals. It is irresponsible and ethically wrong for this establishment to be promoting the unnecessary suffering and slaughtering of an animal that is smarter then a dog and about as smart as a 3 yr old toddler. Not to mention the health ramifications of consuming processed meats that are in the same carcinogen category as tobacco, asbestos and plutonium as per the World Health Organization. If you don’t have to cause suffering to another living being to live a healthier life and help the environmen... read more

I certainly wouldn't trust taking my animals to any "veterinary hospital" that advertises and advocates for the mass slaughter of farm animals for a barbaric event.

Please reconsider your endorsement of RibFest. It sends a clear message that you don't care about all animals. In fact, it sends the message that you support animals living in horrendous conditions, being mutilated without anesthetic, and dying a painful and prolonged death. I can't understand how you could be a supporter.

Shame on you and your business for promoting animal deaths and slaughter at a Veterinary by promoting a "Ribfest" The contradictory is real.

I have been to the Okanagan Veterinary Hospital many times and in fact Dr. Marco did an excellent job on my little dog’s knee. However, I was recently very disappointed to see a sign outside the hospital supporting ‘Ribfest’. As Vets I would assume you respect all animals and supporting a Festival about Meat is heartbreaking. Pigs are bred into a horribly Cruel world. They are Mutilated without anesthetic and often die from so many painful, procedures. They are kept in cramped filthy pens and do not often see the sun til... read more
