Onion River Animal Hospital has cared for my beautiful Goldens for many years. They are a community of some of the most caring and compassionate people I have met. They truly feel like part of my pet's family. They have cared lovingly for my family's dogs, and even with the hardest of decisions, helped us make them with a blend of warm consideration and professionalism.

We called with an emergency question and instantly told they are at capacity for the night. My brothers elder pup started bleeding randomly from a wound no one knew was there but all the receptionist could say is we cant help. Just wrong! We asked for advice and they gave excuses. We had pets there many years ago and had the same result. I would never recommend this place. Only care about the almighty dollar, not the pets!

I just got my dog neutered here the other day and it seems like they took good care of him and I was very happy with the vet tech that talked to me about everything when I picked him up. She was very nice and professional and even helped my dog into my car. However, the office and exam rooms are really small and crowded. There were a lot of people with their dogs waiting all at the same time, which seemed to make it very stressful on the pets.
