I'm a former OPC employee. OPC has a great reputation in Louisville and beyond because the founder and his sweet wife ran this co. along with the founder's late father when they opened back in 1972. But times have changed. The founder's daughter and son-in-law run the business now. The founder sold it to Rollins, which owns Orkin and many other pest control brands around the globe. The driver in Lexington was texting and driving on Nicholasville Road today. I had to blow my horn to keep him from hitting me. This is unacceptable! Not only could it cause an accident but it could kill someone. So unsafe!
I’ve moved into a new apartment that was roach infested before we moved in, and no we weren’t told before we moved in that it was infested. I’ve had management put us down for a spray to treat the apartment again but each time they come they say there isn’t any roaches, not to mention they didn’t come at all one day, but I’ve been killing several every few days, three just today. Unacceptable.
The technicians did not treat the outside correctly or do half of what they said they would do. It rained as soon as they treated and so all was a waste. The issues I had inside the technician said he could not treat any of my issues. He said that an Ortho Ant and Roach Killer can that I picked up from Home Depot would treat my issues better than anything else he could do. I would suggest saving your $159.00 and go to Home Depot and buy the $5.99 can.
The man who talked us into using OPC was very nice and persuasive, as all salesmen are required to be. He won our trust and we signed and paid for an annual plan. After a year's worth of paid "pest management," the little girl next door showed us where a mouse had just entered our home! Turned out that the entry was EXTREMELY EASY to find for anyone, especially a professional!
