Was very thorough and took the time to explain my condition. Explained mytreatment options and provided prompt service.
When I tore my ACL, I quickly booked an appointment at Optim and saw Dr Gaines. This is my second time around with him for surgery, the first being broken collarbone repair. He did a great job both times, and he seems to care which is nice. Hopefully I won’t need him again, but if I do, I trust him completely with my care!

I have had a total of 4 knee surgeries on the same knee in 29 months. Two Drs. from Macon,Ga did a replacement and ended up having loose hardware x2 and infection third time.Saw Dr. Tankersley for another opinion and he had to do another replacement due to loosening of hardware. He is the best! Such good “bedside” manner, caring, kind and easy to talk to. I was very pleased with my visit and discussion of my knees and leg pain. Dr. Arron ordered X-rays n then reviewed the results. He was very thorough explaining exactly what was happening. He then followed with my options and what I could expect in the future. As he listened to my concerns and answered my questions, I felt that he genuinely cared about my concerns. He was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with his professionalism .
