Very knowledgeable and patient. He puts a priority on addressing the patient's and their family members' concerns. I appreciate that he is not quick to prescribe medications before looking at other possibilities to achieve optimum health of the patient.

It is so hard to find a good psychiatrist, and I've finally found one. While my last one was amazing, when he moved and referred me to Dr. Dholakia, I didn't know what to expect. But I've never met a more compassionate, kind, and caring doctor who is so thorough in his assessment that I feel he truly knows me. He actually gets me and understands me!
