I just had the best service experience in years. I needed a pest control service quickly because we are hosting a party at my home in a few days and I was worried about a recent flurry of bee activity. I went online and chose Orkin because I recognized the name. I was able to get a same day appointment for late afternoon. When I realized later I was going to be late, I called the Orkin 1-800 number and they had the technician coming to my house call me back. I want to commend Orkin on their excellent customer service. Today I spoke with Angela who handled my situation with dignity and compassion. She made a situation that could've been embarrassing and overwhelming, pleasant and thoughtful. God Bless you.

I wish i can put 0* here. I have rodent issue in my backyard and i found out this company on google review, wish i would have checked yelp before hand. The initial assigned person promised how their bait and strategy is advanced and even have a entire village built to test the poison bait, DO NOT TRUST any of that. Service since Sept. 22 ongoing issues since then. It seem they never can solved the issues. (no clue what they were doing ) Called tried to speak to a manager on 04/14 and 04/17/2023 and again today. Still no feedback from them ..

Orkin apparently isn't what it used to be. I have used them in the past with great results. My bad for not checking Yelp first before I signed up again. If I could write this review with a no star rating I would, as I paid thru the nose for a rodent issue for four months with ZERO results. The manager at the Kent facility tries to cover up lack of results with incredible excuses. When canceling service for lack of results, was told I had to give 30 day notice and then got another month bill for them to remove their trap... read more

Anytime I give a 1 star rating, the company has gone out of it's way to deserve it and that is the case here. Initially I had a positive experience with Orkin in Snohomish county. They came out and sprayed and all went well. When I moved into my new home in Pierce county, I had them come out to do a preventative spray and make sure everything was ok. When the technician arrived, he did the job and we gave him a credit card and set up and appointment for him to return in 2 weeks. The 2 weeks come and go he never comes but lea... read more

Orkin was my first experience with a pest control company and they didn't set the bar any higher than my ankles. 1. They rescheduled my appointment an hour before I was expecting them, not consulting me for the new appointment date. 2. The tech was shy (not a problem) but I found it odd that he never asked me any probing questions about why I scheduled a visit. i have hired orkin to help rat control. but the house is swarming with rats in crawlspace and they have set 5 traps. none of the trap has any rat. also, their follow up is not knowledgeable. He first got to the billing address and not the house. No idea where the traps are. They just try to sell you a crawlspace clean up as a follow up.

There are two reasons why I'm giving them a 2-star review. 1) Prior to signing up with Orkin, we'd been receiving services from another pest control company who'd been unable to eradicate a clover mite infestation on our property. As such, I wanted to make sure that Orkin would actually be able to handle this problem, and I was assured by Orkin customer service that they could.
