On President's Day, an Orkin truck was dispatched to a client's home up my narrow side street in Portland. The road was covered in snow and ice during the storm. After driving (skidding) up the narrow road, he turned around and skidded back down to find a perfect parking spot-our yard. We never park there because YARD! Orkin sent me a fraudulent receipt and unauthorizedly charged me the second month of service. A week ago I discovered on my credit card statement of a second charge of $111. When I called the company, I was told that I requested a home visit on August 17. and my sister in law received them. This was not true. When we called the first time to request the service, regardless of how hard the clerk tried to have us sign up for monthly service for up to 1 year, we said "no". They lied by telling us we would receive re-treating services for a year after. They charged us $100 for the start up and then $50 twice to catch one mouse. The only reason we signed up for that was because of the re-treating it came with if our problem came back. We've since found more mice so we called for re-treating and they said no they only covered the 30 days. That's not true he literally lied to my face then. I need to find the papers I signed so I can make a formal complaint. What horrible customer service

I have never seen someone in a 'professional' field treat an older woman with so much disrespect. Per my mom's landlord request they came to spray for ants, my mom is so allergic to all sprays of that nature she could die. So she nicely tells him this and that he can't spray. He instantly yells and argues he even told her 'You're not allergic to this' and 'You're not a professional'. How the hell would he know?! Do not sign up with Orkin! I signed up for a Eom sercice (every other month) starting with a higher first time use charge in October...the 7th to be exact. I was assured my account would be charged every other month starting the first time higher charge in October then the next payment to come out December sometime between the 7th and 14th. Unfortunately they took out my monthly payment November 13th... I have been trying to sort it all out by phone with nothibg but headache between Orkin and my poor bank. I ended up having ... read more
