The mark of a true professional and upstanding doctor is how they deal with a poor surgical outcome. My face/neck lift was an epic fail and he has been extremely unprofessional in the aftermath. I will first mention that the staff at this office are wonderful and by no means are reflected in this review I have been going to this centre for Botox and fillers for years. I saw Dr. Bonaparte for deviated septum and also decided to get my nose fixed (had a bump I did not like) I have to say he is a bit awkward or weird, but I won't hold that against him. The process seemed disjointed and disorganized. He did not fix my deviated septum properly as I breath worse than I did before the surgery. I had bleeding after the surgery and he passed it off as nothing rather than trying to comfort me. The bump on my nose is almost gone but it hardly seemed worth the effort as it is not totally gone. Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, the Ontario Government does not cover cosmetic changes to the nose unless approved and thus patients who have a bump will not have it repaired unless they have cosmetic surgery. All patients who meet with Dr Bonaparte will discuss the risks of a septoplasty as well as the limitations of the septoplasty. If you look at all the published papers and asses all surgeons in Canada and the USA, the success rate for a septoplasty is anywhere from 80-90% thus 1-2 in 10 patients will unfortunate... read more
I had what appeared to be, in the inside of my upper lip, an obstruction in one of my veins. This vein would get enlarged and harden like a small nut. The veins appeared blue as a venous malformations in the inner side of my upper lip. The problem, as described, arose from one day to another. The above issue was painful, kept me awake at night and I was only able to dissolve it with long sessions of hand massage to my upper lip.
