My experience as a patient of Dr. Bonaparte was excellent. He was an extremely kind, professional and helpful doctor who provided me so much relief after suffering from nasal polyps. He performed Functional Endoscopic Sinus surgery on me in November 2014 which made a world of a difference with my breathing, sinus pain and congestion. I meant to leave a review about 6 months ago but kept forgetting, now i'm out of the provice board so I thought I would do it finally. I had a nose surgery (rhinoplasty) and things went fantastic. I saw three other surgeons in ottawa and decided I Dr Bonaparte was right for me. I've never had a doctor call me to check on me before after surgery so I was really surprised. After biting my lip I developed a mucosele which would not go away. After researching online that surgery was the most effective way to address the problem, I made an appointment with Dr. Bonaparte. Days later the mucosele was surgically removed in 20 minutes and 2 weeks later the inside of my lip looks like new.
Excellent doctor performed septoplasty and had no pain after the surgery everything healed up perfectly. Never had surgery before but felt comfortable with Dr.bonaparte and his staff. Excellent response time as well, barely ever waited for anything with him Can finally breath through my nose now thanks to him !
I am extremely pleased with the result of my nose surgery. I can now breathe and therefore sleep at night. I would recommend Dr. Bonaparte without hesitation.
Dr Bonaparte explained the procedure fully and the expectations post surgery. He took all the time required to answer questions. After the lower face/necklift the results were better than I expected. I had been experiencing allergy like symptoms and congestion problems for several years. I did have some plastic surgery by a surgeon in Halifax but it was more cosmetic. Initially, I didn't want to use a nasal spray medication but eventually it made it difficult for me to breathe so I did. I did have an allergy test done and the medication helped initially. Six years ago, I went to see my family doctor about allergy' symptoms and left nasal blockage but he claimed that nothing was wrong and he didn't take me seriously. I decided to get a new family doctor and after discussing my symptoms with him he suggested that I should start to take nasal spray medication for the allergy and also sent me to an allergy specialist.
