My fears of what my life would be without alcohol and drugs kept me from getting help for the longest time but the kindness I was given at oxford treatment changed my view because now I only want to be sober and share my sobriety with others.
It wasn't easy but I finally finished something I started. Now I am free to be who I was intended to be thx to the love shown at otc. My family was also involved and that was truly a blessing. Living life on lifes terms is easier in recovery.
After several rehabs and finally hitting my bottom, I chose OTC and the results speak for themselves because the gift of sobriety is a treasure and I'm so thankful for my time there. Now my kids have their mother back and AA has been a blessing.
The hardest part was my first week but after I got out of detox and started attending and participating in groups, I gained so much info from such knowledgeable staff. I recommend OTC because if I can stay sober anyone can.
I have the utmost regard and respect for Oxford and all the people that showed me love, compassion, empathy and respect. I learned that sobriety is the only way to live one day at a time.
I had a wonderful great treatment experience and the people I'd like to thank are Mr Mar, Barry, Hank, Ralph, Marty, Fred, Ms Vikki, Angela, Buffy, and Keisha. Equine was the best and the ropes course.

My experience is one of surrender and learning how to love myself. I've been to 6 other treatment centers but Oxford is where I truly surrendered to the disease of addiction and I'm finding a new way to cope with daily life with the tools provided.
I'd like to wish everybody there continued prosperity and success. Oxford is a great facility and the loving atmosphere is definitely special. Mr Clara in art is awesome and helped me unlock and change self-defeating thought patterns.
