[name removed] stayed in one of their senior apartments. He had access to the main building which is lovely. There's a library with a piano and a "bistro bar" make your own coffee. Expense went really well. We got the lead from the place for mom. We visited the facility and we were able to make contact with one of the key contacts for customer service. Give us a tour show us the available apartment that my dad eventually rented. [name removed] proved to be an excellent contact answer all questions quickly. I really don't have anything negative to share. It was all perfect experience and easy. Also, the facility is very nice. What stood out most is the friendly staff and it's quiet and clean. I would absolutely recommend Pacific Grove to others who are looking for a place for their loved ones.
It is a very nice place to live - beautiful apartment! The staff and people who live here are very warm and friendly. The administrative staff are efficient and friendly. Activities here are its weak area. Few interesting activities offered and poor turnout. I love my apartment and have met very nice people and support staff but very disappointed with the lack of activities
We toured this amazing building with [name removed]. I couldn’t believe what a great facility- clean, inviting, staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was incredibly comfortable- I felt I was home. The apartments are thoughtfully laid out. The facility has the feel of an historic hotel but with nicely updated living units. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Residents are also friendly. They offer several types of living units. I’m in a two bedroom unit that accommodates me very well. Of course Pacific Grove is a very nice community with excellent climate.
It's a beautiful old building and location and she has a lovely corner apartment over looking a beautiful garden. It is a very good price for a 1 bedroom apartment in Pacific Grove. Was [removed] now went up to [removed] after a year.
4+. I have had a very good year here. Last year when I had to move, keeping my two little dogs was my first priority and in fact I found Pacific Grove Senior Living on the SPCA website on a list of dog friendly places. I have a nice little studio on the 55Plus level, which is just like living in an ordinary apartment. I do not pay for dining or housekeeping. I buy my own food at Grove Market and use my own vacuum and cleaning supplies. So I do not know first hand what all this bad publicity is about. I do know that the staff... read more
My dad is very comfortable there, well taken care of and says their food is great. The value is amazing based on the price of other places in the area.
