Overall, a very professional organization with good service and care. Downside; food, as usual, very bland. [name removed] hates the food and is disappointed in lack of responsiveness for anything out of the ordinary. I would recommend Parsons House Preston Hollow to others.

Parsons House has a very sweet and light feeling to it. Other places we looked into felt heavier, a little depressing. The staff maintain a generally cheerful way of caring for the residents and I’ve felt nothing but trust and relief that my brother is there.

We have had a great experience with Parson House Preston Hollow in the care given to our Mother/Mother-in-law who has been a resident there for slightly over one year. Our priority has been the care and safety of our mother. The care staff is competent, caring and responsive and do what they can to make all feel like family. I’ve had my loved one in Parsons House Preston Hollow for a year now, and things have only gotten better and better during his stay. I think that a great experience originates from the management, and Parsons House has a terrific executive director. She sets a tone and example of family, of kindness, and of quality that you can feel throughout the entire staff. Is any place perfect? My loved one is a resident at Parsons House Preston Hollow. The social environment is positive and the staff is friendly and supportive, but they depend heavily on the Aides which can be short staffed. If a resident needs added attention or greater needs, it may be frustrating. They have regular social events that are nice for the residents. They invite family members and really make it special. This has been a very positive experience for us and our loved one. I have recommend the community to others and will continue to do so. The staff is very friendly and available when we have questions. There is always something to participate in, if the residents would like to. My loved one had a medical condition last week and the staff were right on top of it responding to it, and to assist with getting it resolved quickly. The food is very good here.

I thought Parsons House was absolutely wonderful. They followed up with us after the tour and offered their assistance if they could ever be of help in any way. I was incredibly impressed. The only reason we decided not to go there was because it was just a tiny bit too small in terms of socialization for our loved one. But it was an unbelievably beautiful and well-maintained facility, and the people there were lovely and kind.

We picked this facility because, it was smaller community, they offered more one on one care, and it was close to home. They are a little short staffed on the weekends, and sometimes with the nursing staff. They are attentive from management, on down to other staff.

My mother has been living at Parsons 3 months. I have only the very highest regard for the staff. My mom is always in good spirits . She is made to feel very much at home. Good nutritious meals are home cooked by the staff. With each residents persona diet in mind, We already see the changes in my mother.
