Dr Maeso is a very competent doctor. I have had years of sinus problems. She operated on me and I have not had the major problems I have had in the past. She is a very kind person always spending time to explain things thoroughly and checking to make sure I was ok when she was doing a procedure in her office. She is one of the the best doctors I have ever had treat me.

I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Maeso, an ENT specialist with Houston ENT and Allergy. Other physicians had not diagnosed my severe sinus infections. A CT scan ordered by Dr. Maeso showed that all of my sinuses were infected. She first prescribed an antibiotic, but when I was unresponsive, she performed a surgical procedure that succeeded! I found out that she had taught this procedure many times to other doctors who were learning to be ENT specialists.

My husband had several appointments with Dr. Maeso as a new patient last year and was very impressed with her. I needed an ENT this week and chose Dr Maeso. She is very kind and listens to your concerns without rushing you. The front office staff was very nice. I am glad I chose Dr. Maeso

Dr. Maeso performed nasal cauterization on left nostril. When I arrived home and looked in mirror, bottom of my nostril was completely black (~1/2" wide, inner/outer). Upon Google search I thought this was "staining", however, later that evening when I tried to cool the burning sensation by gently applying wet Q-tip my skin started peeling off. Dr. Maeso told me via phone next day she was "not concerned" with this and to just put anti-bacterial ointment on. Per another ENT doctor 3 days later, I was told it appeared Dr. Maes... read more

I was very disappointed at her treatment. I started with Dr. Maseso based on good review. I had a chronic sinus issue. After 2 appointments and 4 CT scans which total to $1800, she recommended a surgical procedure on the bridge of my nose to clean out the sinus. I decided to go to another ENT and took just one diagnostic appointment and one follow up appointment to take care of my sinus. Nurses at front are rude and selfish. They rushed everything and refused to take a copy of my CT Cat Scan results. Then 1 of the ladies started gossiping to her co workers in Spanish. They're all Yes man. Pretty much they don't care what happens to the patient. They're just there for a paycheck.

Miss diagnosed, could not get a timely followup even when things started getting worse. May have permanent hearing loss because the infection was not treated properly... but they do sell hearing aids. Could not recommend this doctor to anyone.
