The employees at Paychex have to be the most incompetent representatives I've ever had the displeasure of working with. I have been trying to get my issue resolved since November of 2022... They can't even send a check correctly. I've filled out two forms with the correct payee and they've sent two checks with my name rather than the company it's being rolled over to. Where to start. I don’t know how this company is in business and how they have a customer base. They’re supposed to be a service company that simplify payroll. Well let me tell you they do the exact opposite. I have never had a worse experience with a service provider. It first started when they were charging me more then the quoted price for weekly payroll. I was quoted $36 for 6 employees. First bill was $50, then over $100. Exact situation as Jeff A. This payroll company is complete trash. And everyone that works for them has an IQ of ZERO. Been fighting with them for 3 months over my 401k from a previous employer. Multiple Payroll Specialist wouldn't contact you back regarding issues. Were not taking out garnishments correctly. Or filing in the proper states even though plenty of information was given. Management could not even get their subordinates to do their jobs. There were not proper taxes paid in. Locked us out of our online accounts and had to pay $488 for year end information for employees and CPA. After firing this incompetent company from doing my payroll, I was contractually stuck with them still servicing my 401k plan. I have never encountered such gross incompetence, poor customer service, and lack of follow through with any company I've ever dealt with. They never return calls, they do not return critical emails, and they just make sure that everything is on their terms when it comes to communications (ie emails that they do send are all marked "do not reply", they have no direct lines to call in and speak to the... read more
As many individuals have mentioned before, Paychex is a shady company. They charged me $625 to run payroll which was never run. Payroll specialist Allyson C******** was of no help and could not even provide me with documentation that I agreed to their services. Do NOT use this company. Try another one like *****. etc.
My story is similar to Bridget B's. HORRIBLE. I retired in 9/22 and sent in my client separation form. A month later I got hit with $288 of "Adjustment Fees" AFTER the seperation was concluded. They held my W-2 as ransom. Terrible business practice. If I had the money, I would hit these loosers with a class action suit that would make their head spin... DO NOT USE PAYCHEX at all costs.
Do not I repeat do not use this company they will take money out of your account randomly and you will never be able to get anyone who can explain why the money is coming out. The payroll specialist are very unprofessional one person said to me they would call me back in a hour because they had to take there daughter to school. It was a mess I highly recommend you finding another company to process payroll. This one steals money
this is a horrible service, my service representative Breauna T***** don't asker calls or emails I still can't access my Flex account it's been months i have to call in for payroll, they also have me down twice two different ID numbers and on top of that i got paid twice and still waiting for 1099"s i also contact her supervisor no response.
