I was scared and very nervous for my visit but my doctor and his assistant did their best to keep me calm and not so worried.
She is always cheerful and takes plenty of time to explain things. She also makes sure you don't have any questions before you leave. She is thorough and knowledgeable.
Dr. Hershberger is very kind and professional.
I was referred to Dr. Hershberger due to being pregnant with twins and where I live (in the boonies) they didn’t feel comfortable with anything besides a csection. I was really nervous about meeting a new doctor at 36 weeks pregnant with twins. However, the entire staff at Heartland was extremely friendly, welcoming, and made the visit an all around positive experience! I left feeling more relaxed and confident about labor than I had the entire pregnancy. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone :)

Amanda Twist is an excellent PA for women's health. She listens carefully, discusses your healthcare with you and then asks if you are ok with that plan. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Hershberger is great. I don’t know anybody that really enjoys a women’s wellness checkup, but he makes it bearable. He’s got a calming energy and he genuinely knows how to talk to people, a skill that (lets be honest) not everybody has. He’s very understanding and never tries to push anything - he’s all about you choosing what will be the best option for you and your body/mind.
