Reservation at 4:00. We arrived 10-15 min and were seated promptly. Our Server, Maria, was attentive, prompt, friendly, and answered all of our questions regarding this new Restaurant. Her service was outstanding. Drinks from the bar were amazing. The self service bar with Tap pulls for beer, wine and seltzers was fun and easy to operate. This was a nice feature to self serve yourself when you were ready for that next beverage. The Farm to Table prep of the food was an absolute pleasure to eat. Everything was fresh and seaso... read more
Cornbread was not cooked thoroughly. The middle was still doughy. Shrimp and grits were ok. Grits were warm but the shrimp was fabulous. Flatbread pizza was wimpy, not cooked thoroughly. Drinks were interesting. I would want to add some national brands, like Pepsi etc. Not everyone wants peach flavored tea and the cucumber drink was like a flat sprite, no real flavor. It was also very loud inside. I would still give it a 3.5, will come back in a couple of months and see if I can give it a 5 stars.
Great ambiance and service! Food is great but unique in a fresh and farm to table vibe (e.g ground chicken burger vs beef). Love the drink self serve tap wall!
Another great dining experience at Pecan Craft Kitchen. The sweet potatoes are a must!
Website said dress code was business casual, but from what we saw was mostly jeans on the afternoon of New Year’s Eve, including most of the servers. Both of us had the salmon, which was very good, cornbread with jalapeños. Drinks were good. The website posts hours, menus are for lunch and dinner, but lunch and dinner hours aren’t specified. The experience was good, especially considering the restaurant has been open less than two weeks. Willing to try again, wish there a few other menu options.
Made reservations for new years eve and was seated at bar high top for our reservation. Less room then the regular bar area. Food was good but service needs some help. Servers unaware of items on menu . Overall good experience but training needed for staff to make atmosphere more appealing.
Our dining experience and waitress was good overall. Sitting at the tall booth right next the drink dispensers was a little distracting but generally ok. I will say that our initial greater had an edge to her when we checked-in for our reservation. I requested an inside table and her offering of an outside low table wasn’t the nicest. I hope that was a one off interaction.
First time at this new restaurant, just south of the Julington Creek Bridge. It was an overall great experience from the drinks on the self-service tap wall to the main meal & dessert. I had a wonderful Salmon dish & I ordered mushrooms on the side. Their vegetables are sourced locally & you could tell the freshness. Definitely coming back. Pecan Kitchen is a great addition to the upscale casual dining experience here in St John’s County.
Food was delicious, service fantastic, and the best part was that the health quality of ingredients was apparent in how we felt after the meal. 5 out of 5.
