Our new favorite place. The food and service were excellent. Atmosphere is unique for NE Florida.
Pecan Craft Kitchen absolutely delivered. We started with the lollies, pimento cheese, cornbread & bites — everything was spot on, rich, and full of flavor. The BBQ chicken flatbread bites were fantastic, and the Caesar salad with chicken was amazing! We loved the place from the moment we walked inside. It has a “north Florida” look and feel and the focus on local goes throughout the building, the menu and so on. We started with the datil pimento cheese spread topped with some hot honey, then the 3 of us ordered the following: 1/2 chicken with the succotash and black-eyed pea caviar sides, the fresh fish (snapper) sandwich with the roasted potatoes, and finally the shrimp flatbread with a Caesar salad. My husband treated me to a birthday celebration at the new restaurant in Julington Creek, Pecan Craft Kitchen. We had a 2:15 PM reservation and we were seated promptly. We chose to sit inside. There is a bar area toward the back and an outside area called the Porch. Next time we go, I’d like to sit outside. It was a really nicely appointed area. Great first experience. Little kinks in the service which it was noticeable, but the staff was super friendly and they are definitely working on it. The food was OUTSTANDING! And definitely worth going for. We sat on the patio which was very cozy but a little loud with everything going on. Decor was very appropriate and just an overall fun, tasty place. We will definitely be back!!!
They just recently opened. The staff is still learning the ropes, but they were extremely attentive. It is a very nice environment. I will definitely be going back soon.
If you have an allium allergies, this restaurant is difficult to eat at. All meat and several other items are made fresh in the morning (which is great unless you have this allergy). They were able to accommodate me on veggies and one flat bread.
Pecan Craft Kitchen is a HIT!! We went for Christmas Eve dinner instead of mom cooking. So I was very impressed. Food was good all around. We had the Lollies (no picture because they were eaten before I could get one). Delicious, little kick in the BBQ sauce but not fire.
