I am looking for a home for my older brother and we decided to tour Peninsula Del Rey. We were greeted by Haydee Tuzon, and she was so professional and welcoming. She seemed to know a lot of the residents as we were touring the facility. She had a lot of patience with my brother and I and answered all of our questions. We are highly considering applying for residency at this facility when my brother is ready for this life changing move. Haydee is a great asset for Peninsula Del Rey. They are lucky to have her as their Direct... read more

I feel satisfied overall with the facility. My only complaint is when their main elevator breaks or needs maintenance, there are limited options other than having to use the stairs from ground floor lobby to first floor where the next two elevators are located. The other elevator that goes directly from the ground floor underground garage isn'tavailable for use unless you have a key and a code and it is not easily accessible early mornings or after hours. That's not a very efficient system. I would also say that I get the fe... read more

My loved one has been a resident of Peninsula Del Rey (PDR) since [date removed]. My loved one resides on the Assisted Living floor. Their care has been exceptional. The staff are very attentive and have provided services commensurate with my loved one's needs. My loved one's meals are delivered to their apartment and they are very happy about the menu and food service. My loved one had a fall in [date removed] and spent one month at a skilled nursing facility. Upon their return to PDR, my loved one's level of care was adjus... read more

I visited this facility Peninsula Del Rey was a very nice place. They had so many activities going on, there's no way you could do it all. I went to their restaurant, and the food looked good. They just covered everything. They even had free parking for your car if you brought a car. Heidi was the one who gave me the tour and she was very nice.

I visited this facility I toured Peninsula Del Rey. I like the clientele and the location, there wasn't anything I dislike. One of the staff took us around, she was very knowledgeable about the place. We saw the 2-bedroom there, they're adequate for our age. The units are 1600 square feet. We saw the dining area, it was not cafeteria style. They have a nice layout for their grounds, when we got there people were sitting around. There were a few activities going on.

I visited this facility My mom will be moving into Peninsula Del Rey in a couple of weeks. I like the building and the facility. It has a nice feel to it. The architecture is nice. It allows a lot of natural light. The common areas are nice, but broken up into smaller common areas, so it's not just one big room, which I like. There's a fireplace and areas for conversation. All of the staff that I've met have been very helpful, very nice, and not phony. Everyone that I saw who was living there looked relatively happy and ther... read more

The Peninsula is an extremely nice facility. This was my sister's second choice but the location is far from the city. She likes to walk places so that was going to be an issue.

I visited this facility My impression of Peninsula Del Rey is that it's very friendly and very open. The apartment was exceptionally clean and very efficient with lots of kitchen cabinets. The person who accommodated me during my tour was phenomenal. She was extremely detail oriented and was following up all the time to make sure that everything was okay. They have a beauty shop, a computer room, a library, and a little Jacuzzi.

I am/was a resident of this facility My husband and I have been in Peninsula Del Rey. This is a wonderful community, it's in Daly City, and they call it luxury living. There are separate apartments and the apartments have all of the amenities. They have a washing machine, dryer, bathrooms, and there are one- or two-bedrooms. In the kitchen, there's a refrigerator, a stove, and a dishwasher. There are some storage places too. In the bathroom, there's an emergency button if you have to press it. There is a 24-hour reception an... read more
