Get directionsI visited this facility Peninsula Del Rey is the one I’m considering moving to. They have all 3 levels of care. I went to see an apartment; it was very nice. The dining room was lovely, bright, light, and had plenty of table space. Most of the tables were for 4 which is typical of a dining room. I was very pleased with the facility. The community was very nice and clean. The people I met in the elevator and the ones I saw in various floors were very charming, very nice, and very congenial. It was opposite the police departme... read more
I visited this facility I really liked Peninsula Del Rey and the way it was set up. I met some people who were very nice. The rooms were lovely and had washer and dryer in each unit, which I really liked. They had a library, a community room, and a dining area that was more like a restaurant. They had a separate dining area where you could have a private party and a shuttle that took the residents to do their shopping on Saturday and Sunday, to doctors' appointments, and on excursions. They had an activity room where they pl... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Visited a very close friend yesterday, Sunday, and found her in the bathroom. She said she needed to go badly but no one came when she pressed the button a couple ofbtimes to call for assistance. So she tried to just slowly walk by herself. We waited till she was done and helped her out.nn She was already out and sitting when a staff came to check on her. I started questioning her why it took solo long before help could come. She said that they are very busy and actually i... read more
I visited this facility My experience at Peninsula Del Ray was very good, and it was a very nice place. The person showing us around was very helpful, and the location was good. It was right off of the freeway and was easy to get to, and the facilities were fantastic. The actual physical building looked about 5 years old, so everything was brand new. The rooms looked a little nice, but they didn’t have kitchens -- at least not in the studios. But the prices were a little high for what we could afford. It was probably the nic... read more
I am a friend or relative of a resident My mom has moved into Peninsula Del Rey last weekend. It was best suited for her and the main reason why, it has independent living and assisted living but no memory care. Before, my mom was in assisted living and memory care and the people there were not at the same level as my mom, so the social interaction wasn't good. Here, she has only been there a week and she just really likes it a lot. It is an impressive place. Every apartment has a full kitchen. My mom is pleased because ther... read more
I visited this facility We visited Peninsula Del Rey in Daly City. It was fantastic. I think it was super clean, very well maintained, and very modern. It had great amenities. The rooms were very well taken care of. I really liked it.
I visited this facility Peninsula Del Rey was beautiful. The apartments were lovely, and the food was good. The people who gave us the tour was very lovely. They seemed to keep the people fairly busy.
I am/was a resident of this facility Strangely, I don't know how I came across Peninsula Del Rey because they called me. I must have contacted them on the internet or something. The staff is very excellent. We are in the independent living. I'm in an apartment, and it is very comfortable. It’s a one bedroom unit. I fix the food, and if we want to eat, we go downstairs in the restaurant. It is very nice and elegant. They have activities every day. Some are onsite, and some are offsite. I can't think of a thing to improve the ... read more
I visited this facility I went to one of the opening of Peninsula Del Rey. It is a very nice place, so I put in an application there. The staff is all very confident, and they seem very intelligent. You can walk down the hall and each room has a glass door. So you could see in each room. There were very few people living there that time so they were very eager to get people. I don’t think they are taking anybody now. I had hors d'oeuvre, wine, and all the good stuff. It was very nice and very beautifully done. I didn't eat a... read more
