We love the Apollo Beach location. My full bred Labrador, Rocko, is so well taken care of, the staff love him and play with him often. He loves to swim and is always in the pool or running around it playing with his friends. Rocko started going there when he was a baby, then went through the training program with Kel (if you need your dog trained, Kel is the best) and has been going to day camp and occasional boarding ever since. The girls at Pet Paradise love Rocko and if I don't have time to watch the webcam while I'm ... read more
Lacey loves going here for day camp. She's trying to jump out of the car before I get her seatbelt off. She comes home exhausted from playing with her new friends. The staff is great and and Lacey loves them.
They really love my dog. He is so excited every time he gets there. I can't contain his excitement. It's obvious that he loves them as well.
My dog is weary around people sometimes but she did great with her chaperones and they worked with her slowly and did not push her beyond her limits they worked with her on her time. 100% will be going back.
Unbelievable! My Polly has found her second home! Opening day, Polly came in and the manager Nick and his staff did an amazing job! I couldn't be more pleased. this is a beautiful facility, great hours, and tentative staff! Polly came home happy and relaxed. I'm so grateful. Polly will be visiting often. Thank you!
Business response:
Hi Evanna, thank you so much for taking your pet, Polly to Paradise! We are thrilled to hear you had a positive experience with us, and we can’t wait to see you both again soon.
Pet Paradise is by far the worst place I have ever taken my pet. My experience was heartbreaking. Throughout my dog's stay, they did not let him go to the restroom, nor did they check on him when he was barking, crying, or howling. The patio door was locked all night--from 9 PM to 7:30 AM--so he had no access to relieve himself. Watching the cameras, I never once saw them feed him or even refill his water bowl. The fan was turned off, and even though they provided a bed, blanket, and what looked like a towel, my dog still c... read more
Business response:
Hi Katherine. We are very sorry to hear about your recent experience. Please know that the wellbeing and safety of the pets in our care is extremely important to us, and our team follows scheduled feeding and bathroom routines. We never want an owner to feel their pet was distressed during their stay. Please contact us directly at your earliest convenience so we can discuss this in detail and address your concerns together!
OMG! The barking at the crack of dawn is ridiculous! I understand that animals need to relieve themselves, but there are also homes that were built adjacent to the establishment well before Pet Paradise arrived. We can hear the dogs barking 3 to 4 blocks over for well over an hour. It would be nice and considerate if Corporate changed the time to at 7am. Another thought would be for staff to simply take the dogs in immediately after using the restroom. There are children, mothers, and working folks who would desperately lik... read more
I cannot believe the experience that I had with these people... I felt like I was on that show "boiling points" where people purposely are rude to the customer and see how long it takes before they make us mad or cry. I brought my two King Charles cavaliers in, one with a terrible ear infection and the other just to make sure he was okay ( a "check up" if you will) they looked at my first dog, oliver's ears (who's the one thats infected) and they said "just tie his ears together they need air" and I'm thinking "tie his ears ... read more
I brought my Labrador, Butters, to Pet Paradise in Apollo Beach for a routine neuter. What happened next was anything but routine. They gave him a cone that was clearly too small--so tight I couldn't even fit a finger between it and his neck. Despite my concern, staff insisted it was the correct size. When I returned home a few hours later, I found Butters bleeding from his neck. The cone had caused a severe abrasion, and I had to rush him to the Emergency Vet. There, I learned that the cone was not only too small, but due ... read more
Business response:
Hi there. We’re truly sorry to hear about your concerns regarding Butters’ recent visit. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to speak with you directly about your concerns. As we mentioned previously, after consulting with our veterinarian, we were able to confirm that the cone provided was appropriately sized, with no signs of rubbing, cutting, or being too tight. Additionally, the emergency veterinarian also confirmed that the irritation was not caused by the cone. We did not observe any signs of hotspots during ou... read more
