(Neuter Aftermath): Took my Lab, Butters, in for a neuter at Pet Paradise Apollo Beach, and it turned into a nightmare. They gave him a cone that was so tight it left no breathing room--literally. I voiced concern, but was brushed off. Came home later to find blood all over the place. The cone had cut into his neck and, thanks to the sedation and excessive drool, it created a nasty infection. If you care about your pet, do not board them here. They are completely inexperienced, untrustworthy, Nick specifically is extremely rude and very condescending. When we picked our dog up, he was a completely different dog temperament wise from his stressful experience. While our dog was in boarding, we saw them interact with our dog several times in ways we were extremely uncomfortable and upset with. I made an appointment on August 19th for my dog to get groomed. Every day I logged in to get an earlier appointment and was able to move it up to today 10/17 at 10 am. I got reminders on multiple occasions and reminders about vaccines. All completed, uploaded and his pic as well. I arrive today and they check us in. Place looks clean - Cody is excited but nervous. Not a good experience. First impression while bringing our dogs in for the meet the fam day, I walked in, no greeting and told to bring my dogs back outside because there were two other barking dogs being dropped off at the time. They kept one of my dogs in the kennel for most of the visit because they said she was too nervous around the other dogs. Hello it's 2:11am - welcome to pet "PARADISE" .... DOG OWNERS your dogs are being IGNORED and BARKING ALL NIGHT long. They are not being cared for at all. These dogs sound like they are outside at this very moment, they way they sound when they are outside during the day is how it sounds at night.
