RecommendedI brought my newly adopted 6-month-old kitty, Salem, here for the first time today for a check up and was very happy with the visit. The front desk staff greeted me and Salem right away, and instantly took an interest in her. The vet techs (I forgot their names) were both great, and Dr.McGinty seems extremely knowledgeable. They all are very compassionate towards animals, and I fully trust that they have Salem's best interest in mind. The facilities are also very clean and comfortable. Thank you <3

RecommendedI just can't say enough positives about Dr. Petersen and Petersen Pet Hospital.. Dr. Petersen has been the vet for our 9 month mini-schnauzer since we got her. While she can be a handful at times Dr. Petersen and his staff do a great job in handling her. We are moving out of state and the office sent me links for long distance driving with my dogs and a referral to a vet in our new state. This was all done after a casual conversation. They used to be great, now they just want your money. Refused to clip my dogs nails unless I paid for a checkup and a bunch of tests that I don't want and can't afford. They have cared for her for 13 years and now this. So sad. So disappointed. I do not recommend this cash grabbing vet.

How disappointing! Have taken our dog there for many years. Got there at 5:10, and yes our appointment was at 5, by the time I got home from work and got the stool sample THEY requested I got there at 5:10. I was told by the gal that greeted me that she would have to talk to the team and proceeded to come out and tell me that she would need to reschedule because she would have another appointment coming in, but the appointment wasn't there yet. Refused to sell me heartguard even though they had record of my pets being on the medication continuously. Blood work should be up to the pet owners not mandatory from the establishment.
