Petro prices on heating oil are ridiculously over inflated.
No thank you,it doesn't fix what happened. And it's not that you will do anything with this information anyway.i know it doesn't help any customers.

Called for the promo AC servicing back in May. Was given a date in June and combined it with my annual furnace maintenance. The service man came and serviced the furnace but not the AC because it was raining. Said the AC would be rescheduled. Never heard back from Petro. So I called them and they tried to sell me an AC service contract and scheduled my AC service for end of August! Why would I sign for another service contract with such lousy customer service? Beware the ceiling plan for home heating oil. The ceiling is told to you upfront but the delivery price is not transparent at all. Local discount oil companies are charging $1.99 per gallon. Petrol delivery was $3.42 on Dec 3. That's a "mark up" of $1.43 a gallon. If you call to inquire as to the basis of the price you will be told that Petrol is such a great company and provides FULL SERVICE that they have to charge more than market rates. Its a scam. Service was scheduled hours after initial call a technician arrived on time. Problem corrected quickly.

For the most part the Petro Service team is good, however the delivery team/department is not. I have oil heat as a secondary heat source and have called and spoke with service multiple times about my gauge reading and making sure there was a note on our account that they must call ahead before any delivery and they all confirm it does. we have not had an oil full up since January 2018 simply because we didn't need any. Thank you for sending Norm this second time in getting this issue fixed with my air conditioner. Water on the basement floor is a true mess and it should have been corrected the first time. Thank goodness I knew what to keep an eye out for before it got too flooded. Please have the first guy re-trained based on what Norm found.
