What a pleasure meeting Dr Merlino and her wonderful staff! It was my son’s first dental visit and although I was apprehensive how he would behave, he enjoyed his visit so much. He is 3 years old. They made him feel so comfortable and took the time to explain each step they made. It was an enjoyable experience for him so thank you for taking such good care of my son Ari! He proudly brought the pencil you gave him to school today., You guys are top notch!! And Theresa is so good with kids. You made him feel special Theresa!

Dr.Merlino and her entire staff were extremely kind! Very friendly and helpful. I took my 13 month old daughter for her first visit and after meeting Dr.Merlino it is safe to say we will be coming back for years to come!

I called the practice today since my son was experiencing tooth pain over the weekend. They squeezed him in and fixed the problem. Dr. Merlino and her staff were very friendly and welcoming. She took the time to explain what she was going to be doing which put him at ease. Wonderful doctor, definitely plan on using her long term.

Dr. Merlino and her staff is the best in pediatrics dentistry on this island! My oldest daughter 3 years ago needed some intense dental work for a 5 year old, a baby root canal and a tooth extraction. The dentist we were going to recommended her being put under, I just couldn't see doing that to my baby. After doing some research and getting some recommendations we were guided in the direction of Dr. Merlino. The atmosphere was set from walking thru the door, and there is a kids door I might add! to the waiting room décor, to the kid friendly procedure rooms, to the friendly staff I knew we were in the right place! My daughter was in love with the office before even meeting the Dr. Now the best part meeting Dr. Merlino. She is more then amazing with children she sets the whole tone and atmosphere of the room. She speaks to your child and even my husband and I as if she’s telling a story and it definitely works! She discusses what she feels the best path of treatment is for your child before doing anything and I appreciated that as we were not using insurance and paying out of pocket. The procedure that day went amazing yes I am using the word amazing for dental work, my daughter would use the same word too! My daughter did not even realize she had a needle in her mouth never mind intense work done, Dr. Merlino and her assistant kept my daughter calm the whole time and distracted while talking to her and telling her stories. That day and every other since is always a success with smiles and my daughter saying she can’t wait to go back to the dentist. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago when my 7 year old daughter with a lot of sensory issues needed a baby root canal, there was no question where I was taking her! Dr. Merlino handled her with TLC and my daughter said it was the best day ever, who says that about the dentist! I can not recommend Dr. Merlino more hands down she is the best! It was worth every dollar we spent, her prices are more than fair, and the quality of work is superb! Thank you Dr. Merlino and staff!

Everyone here is amazing. Great at communicating COVID precautions, managing the patient experience, and explaining everything they are doing both before and during exam.

My son was a little nervous about his first trip to the dentist, Dr. Merlino and her staff put him at ease in a matter of minutes. She was kind and explained everything she was doing during the exam, cleaning and xrays. My son left there all smiles and if he’s happy, I’m happy! Would definitely recommend 👍🏻🦷

My first visit was an emergency with my first son Benjamin when he was 15 months old he fell and cracked his 2 front teeth. He had trauma to his gums and needed filing bc they were pointy. I was 9 months pregnant and a nervous wreck and dr Merlino was incredible. Just that he sat still for her was a miracle. Now I have 2 going to her, soon 3. And she’s so great with them Highly recommend!!!!!!!
