RecommendedI called the practice today since my son was experiencing tooth pain over the weekend. They squeezed him in and fixed the problem. Dr. Merlino and her staff were very friendly and welcoming. She took the time to explain what she was going to be doing which put him at ease. Wonderful doctor, definitely plan on using her long term.

RecommendedDr. Merlino and her staff is the best in pediatrics dentistry on this island! My oldest daughter 3 years ago needed some intense dental work for a 5 year old, a baby root canal and a tooth extraction. The dentist we were going to recommended her being put under, I just couldn't see doing that to my baby. After doing some research and getting some recommendations we were guided in the direction of Dr. Merlino. RecommendedMy son was a little nervous about his first trip to the dentist, Dr. Merlino and her staff put him at ease in a matter of minutes. She was kind and explained everything she was doing during the exam, cleaning and xrays. My son left there all smiles and if he’s happy, I’m happy! Would definitely recommend 👍🏻🦷

RecommendedMy first visit was an emergency with my first son Benjamin when he was 15 months old he fell and cracked his 2 front teeth. He had trauma to his gums and needed filing bc they were pointy. I was 9 months pregnant and a nervous wreck and dr Merlino was incredible. Just that he sat still for her was a miracle. Now I have 2 going to her, soon 3. And she’s so great with them Highly recommend!!!!!!!

RecommendedI love how calming she is. Both my daughters had appointments yesterday. My oldest one used to hate going to the dentist when she was younger, now she loooves going. My youngest daughter was allowed to watch to calm her nerves (it was her first visit ever) and when it was her turn, Dr. Phyllis talked to her the whole time in a very calming voice while allowing me to sit with her. She’s great

RecommendedI brought my son to Dr. Merlino for a consult and she was very helpful, willing to explain what she observed and yet also willing to acknowledge what she did not know. I was grateful for her feedback and for the referral to another dentist who has more experience in the issues were are assessing.
